Ranch Rooster Salad

Ranch Rooster Salad

This gentle and straightforward rooster salad recipe made with leftover rotisserie rooster breast meat and my home made ranch dressing. Nice for lunch and meal prep!

Ranch Rooster Salad

I really like preserving rooster salad readily available for simple lunch for the week. Shopping for a small container of the pre-made stuff is so costly, and by no means nearly as good as home made. A number of different rooster salad recipes I carry on rotation are Rooster Waldorf Salad, Rooster Salad with Avocado, Rooster Salad with Lemon and Dill and Cilantro Rooster Salad.

This recipe occurred by chance, I had some leftover ranch dressing and a few leftover rooster breast and mixed the 2 and liked the way it tasted! Serve it in a wrap, over lettuce, make a rooster soften or stuffed in a tomato or avocado!

You may also purchase pre-cooked rooster, or make shredded rooster within the sluggish cooker by overlaying it with rooster broth and cooking it 4 hours on low.

Making ranch dressing from scratch is straightforward, you simply want buttermilk which is of course gentle, a little bit mayo and a few herbs and spices.
